The ultimate in fair chase wilderness hunting, a seven day mountain backpack hunt guided one on one from a ” fly in ” mountain tent camp in the Alaska Range. This Master Guide maintains a great success record, only taking a one hunter the first seven days and then usually runs a second hunt, he can offer a 2 on 1 hunt if requested. The outfitter is very diligent with pre-scouting his area before the scheduled hunter arrives and the season begins and sets up camp in advance, a few days prior in anticipation of opening day August 10th. Grizzly / Brown Bear is open at this time as well and can be offered on a trophy basis as a second animal with the purchase of the tag.
Once the hunter and guide are on the mountain, these Sheep hunts are generally all the same, tent camp, glassing and backpacking !
