This is a five day hunt guided 2 on 1 from a mountain wall tent camp located in the high timber ridges at 9,000 feet elevation, complete with cots and heaters if needed. There are two camp locations available, one reached by 4 x 4 vehicles and the other tent base camp on a distant mountain side, reached by horseback, once in camp, all hunting is done on foot. The hunting style is a combination of spot and stalk and settling into high look out points to glass and catch the Elk moving from feeding to bedding areas as well as spot and stalk.
