SASKATCHEWAN MOOSE HUNT — Mid to Late SEPTEMBER and early OCTOBER — RUT HUNT WITH EITHER GUN OR BOW

Price $8,995.00   / Over the Counter License additional

In most situations the outfitter picks the hunters up in Saskatoon and transports them to the hunt area for this six-day hunt, guided one on one in northern Saskatchewan. Hunters may also choose to make the drive from home or some clients will fly into Minot, North Dakota, lease a vehicle and drive to the hunt area north of Saskatoon.  The outfitter takes a very low number of hunters, usually only 4 to 6 per season and not all at one time but spread out over the peak rut period of late September/ early October and hunters do not hunt together unless requested.  These hunts may be with either rifle or bow.

Bulls typically can range from 30 to 50-inch on this highly successful six day hunt, typically, Monday through Saturday.  Hunting areas of open marshes, bogs, fringe cropland wooded ridges and lakes are typically reached with 4 x 4 trucks and ATV’s. The majority of the hunting is done mostly in the early mornings and late afternoon / early evenings when the bull moose are most active and this hunt is not necessarily physically demanding calling the bull moose in during this rut period.

Hunts include, transportation to and from Saskatoon Airport, accommodations, meals, 1 on 1 guide and at times there will be an additional guide when available to help glass and locate and field trophy care.
