Offering a very, very successful five day rifle Elk hunt, guided 2 on 1 outside of Laramie in southeast Wyoming. This hunt is based from a comfortable ranch house and a detached, separate six person modern guest cabin with all amenities. Hunts are conducted on the approximate 10,000 acre private ranch and expansive surrounding BLM land. A total of only 8 hunters on the scheduled first hunt, commencing opening day, October 15 each year through the 19th and a second five day October 27 – 31, again for just eight hunters, to maintain the Elk quantity and quality. These hunts typically offer a great opportunity for a bull elk in the 275 to 330 B&C range. The Wyoming Elk tags are issued through a draw but when client applicants follow our” advised” procedure to apply for the Elk tag, clients have been very successful drawing tags. This excellent rifle Elk hunt is completely booked through the 2028 season, just a couple spots remaining in the second 5 day hunt, the last 5 days of October. ! We will ” consider ” taking deposits for the 2029 season but need to revisit the pricing.
Three ” Preference Points ” have been required currently to draw the Elk Tag, purchasing one point each year. For anyone without any points currently ( 2025 ) and buying one each year,( 25, 26,27 ) the earliest booking would be 2028.

The second 25% of the hunt cost is due January of the actual hunt year to bring total deposit to the required 50%. In the 2022 Lottery Elk Tag draw for this area, an applicant needed 3 Preference Points to successfully draw the Elk tag, Preference Points are purchased 1 per year, consequently meaning three years of buying Preference Points prior to making application. Good planning and early planning is imperative and with our guidance our clients are going hunting!
